Editorial Standards
How we pick topics
We write about what a regular guy can actually use this week: more energy, more money, better friendships, better gear, clearer purpose. Outcome first, always.
How we use AI
AI assists with research and drafts; every post is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by a human before publishing. That includes headlines, meta descriptions, structured data and image alt text. No news item publishes automatically.
Sources
Every factual claim links a primary source: government agencies (CDC, NIH, NHS, BLS), peer-reviewed research, or the original announcement. We report what a source says and stop there.
How reviews are labeled
- Tested: we actually used it. Our photos, our notes, what broke.
- Researched roundup: we haven't tested these, and we say so at the top. We summarize specs, owner reviews and expert testing.
We never invent testers, ratings or customer quotes.
Case Files
Case Files are real people who agreed to be featured (first name or pseudonym). If a story combines more than one person, it's labeled a composite in the first paragraph.
Health and money lines we don't cross
No diagnosis, dosing, medications, hormones, or supplements framed as treatment. No individual financial advice.
Money
We earn from display ads and affiliate links. Neither decides what we recommend. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and log it on the Corrections page with the date.
